Thank you to everyone that appeared at the Albert Halls on Sat 18th February. The show was a massive success and we will be performing again on the 16th February 2013 for the new Mayor Elect Cllr Guy Harkin. All the schools that took part where amazing and what a pleasure it is to network with true professionals. Lois Booth School of Dancing and Angels Dance, Fitness & Performance.

ARRON & ALEX WIN PLACES IN BIG FINAL

We are very pleased to announce that both Alex Connor & Aaron Jordan have both WON their own semi-final heats in a Professional Comp and will be performing at the Queens Hotel on Thursday 2nd June for the Grand Prize of £1000 plus a recording and release of their very own single.

We want to wish you guys the very best of luck you have worked very hard to get there. Well Done !!!!

ALEX CONNOR MAKES BIG IMPRESSION IN BLACKPOOL

ALEX CONNOR made a big impression last week at a major competition that had the judges in a bit of a quander. They could not get away from the fact that Alex had such an original souding voice that they could not compare him to anyone at all. They said “he does his own style his own way and that is what makes him different and fresh”.

Alex who turned semi-professional last year while studying for his A Levels, really wowed the crowd and everyone loved him.

AARON JORDAN TAKES 1st PLACE WITH A BANG

AARON JORDAN took The Queens Hotel by storm with a standing ovation, when he performed there. Judges comments where fantastic and this has now lead to Aaron being made offers from all over. JADE TAKE’S 1ST PLACE WITH MUSICAL THEATRE

JADE TIMPERELY aged 17 and a student here at MelodyPop Tuition took 1st place in a recent Competition performing what Jade does best “Musical Theatre” and was commented how well she performed and how perfect her diction was. Jade is currently also studying Musical Theatre & Dance at Pendleton College and hopes one day to continue with this as a career. I am sure after the performance that Jade gave she will taking steps down on the boards of Theatre.

Well done Jade we look forward to seeing more of you really soon.

BRILLIANT RESULTS FOR SCHOOLS FIRST DANCE COMP!

On Sunday 23rd January, saw Melody Pop Tuition enter their very first ever dance competition. Not really knowing how we would do, we are more than please to let you all know that we attained the following:

3 placed in 2nd Place and 3 placed in 3rd Place.

This is an amazing result for the first time out, and I am sure that everyone would like to congratulate the students and their teachers ~Danny Wardle & Jordan Bridge for their efforts.

Lessons in freestyle/disco take place on a Friday evenings from 7pm – 9pm.

Private lessons are available on a 1-2-1 basis. Please telephone or email for further details…….

EXAMINATION STATUS

New to Melody Pop Tuition is that we are now able to not only do Competition but also are now qualified to do Dance Exams, this is fantastic news and down to the hard work of Danny Wardle (Head of ‘Dance) who has worked long and hard to get the recognition he so justly deserves.

On Sunday 23rd January 2011 see Melody Pop Tuition enter their very first Dance Competition and everyone would like to wish Jordans group and Danny’s group all the very best for Sunday ….. Good Luck everyone.

We also have some other exciting news that Jean Gillies the owner of Melody Pop Tuition is now an Examiner for Vocals Exams. With Melody Pop Tuition reaching fantastic grades Mr Phil Brown who examined the students and Director of the Board quoted “The standard of students are something I have never come across before, I had been told by other examiners that they are good, but on examining the students myself I cannot express how high the standard is, I examine all over the country and never have I been to a school that does what this school does and is able to direct students into employment as well”

We are very proud of our teaching staff and would like to thank everyone who is faithful and positive to the school and all the staff……..
